從易學談人與物的生死情結

由易學看來，人類今日所遭遇的危機是「人」與「物」的關係未能善處，由於人肆意開發地下資源，肆意破壞生態環境，因而造成地球上自然生態失衡，自然秩序失調，環境破壞，氣候異常，一切都是類的魯莽行為所造成。換句話說，近年來地球上所發生的災難，都是「物」對「人」的反擊。
《周易》〈繫辭傳〉要人「開物成務」是要依從正道而行，今日人類的錯誤在於背離正道而肆意輕慢物與暴亂物，役物過度，遂招物怨。本論文希望就易學立場，指出人與物原為一大生命的兩種型態，望人類反省改正，與物親善相處，是為本文之主旨。

The Fatal Complex between Human and the Material
－From Viewpoint of the Philosophy of Yi

The crisis human beings encounter today, from viewpoint of the philosophy of Yi (the Philosophy of Change), is the tensed relationship between human (jen) and the material (wu). This tension brings about ecological unbalance, the malfunction of nature, the destruction of environment, and the abnormal climates, and so on. These are all results of human abuse of the environment and over-utilization of natural resources. In other words, it is the material's counterattack to human's recklessness.
The Appended Remarks (hsi-tsi) of the Book of Change (yi ching) teaches that exploiting nature for utilization (kai wu cheng wu) should follow the proper way The mistake human beings commit today is the reckless abuse of the material without intention to reservation. This gives rise to the counterattack of nature. This article wishes to point out that human and the material are two molds of the one and same Life; it will be beneficial for both if the two are in peace, disadvantageous if they are in conflict. The aim of this article is to articulate the intimate mutual relation of the two in terms of ordinary understanding in order to remind a correction towards a harmony between human and the material.
